Welcome to Music Moment Monday! Lets be real, Mondays are pretty rough for everyone and I know that music definitely helps me get through the day. But music not only helps with a rough day but with rough moments in life and also the happiest moments in life; whether it's in your car while you're stuck in traffic, a break up, working out, falling in love, growing up with your fam, or partying with your friends I bet you have music right there with you. And I can guarantee you that there are particular songs/albums that take you back to those moments.

Today being the last day of the year I thought what better way to end the year and kick off the New Year then with a song about being ambitious. 2012 was a great year for me. I challenged myself to do things I never thought was possible; I finished my business plan, made great leaps with my styling business, and launched my website and blog which I designed and set up all by myself! However, I must say one of my proudest moments of 2012 is having several people telling me that I inspire them; there's no better feeling! I am definitely looking forward to 2013 and all that it has to bring.

And to bring the style aspect to Music Moment Monday (now I know you didn't think it was going to be all about music, did you?), I'm going to post pics of my favorite style moments of the featured artist. Below are pics of a very dapper Jay Z. I love how is style has evolved over the years along with his list of accomplishments. He was even named on Vanity Fairs 2012 International Best-Dressed List.
