How To Style A Slogan Tank
Arteresa Lynn Slogan Tank, Pink Ice Ripped Denim (Sold Out), ShoeDazzle Pumps (old)
Happy Monday, beauties! I hope you all had an amazing weekend. I’ll be honest, I started the weekend off with a full to-do list and ended the weekend with that same to-do list still full. That’s usually so unlike me but I just wasn’t feeling it, wasn’t motivated. I guess we all have our moments but the good news is, it’s a new week and I’m feeling ready.
And of course we have to address the highlight of everyone’s (yes, I said everyone) weekend, Beychella, formally known as Coachella. Queen Bey definitely SHUT. IT. DOWN! I was watching live on YouTube getting my entire life. It was so unapologetically Black, so much women empowerment, so for the culture. She went from “Lift Every Voice and Sing” straight into “Formation”; need I say anymore? On top of that, she showed up and out singing our favorites while killing her choreography. And I LOVED how she looked like a real woman, age 36, who had twins less than a year ago.
Okay, now that I’ve finished my Beyonce rant, on to the outfit. One of my favorite looks to put together is a simple tee/tank paired with denim and pumps. I didn’t want a super clean look so I went ripped denim opposed to a classic pair of jeans. If you’ve been following me for a while then you know that I also love to add a pop of color to an all black ensemble. It’s eye catching and a great way to spice up wearing all black. Slogan tees are here to stay for spring and summer and I figured what better statement than Flaunt It, Flaws and All. You can shop this statement tank on tees and sweatshirts here.
Wishing you all a fabulous week!
