How To Organize Your Underwear Drawer In 3 Easy Steps
So if you've been following along then you know that I recently started a new style series called, The Revamp. The Revamp will help you to rebuild your wardrobe in 12 months by having a style theme for each month. Last month was all about closet organization. The style theme of this month is How To Tackle Your Underwear Drawer. In this first post we will go through how to organize your underwear drawer in 3 easy steps. I know that usually when people hear that they have to organize their wardrobe they cringe and/or put it off, but I promise organizing your underwear drawer is way less painful than last month's organizing your closet! Not to mention, you'll definitely be glad that you did this!
Be sure to bookmark my blog or sign up for The Revamp. The other posts for this month's style theme include Items Every Woman Should Have In Her Underwear Drawer, Tips On How To Choose The Right Bra, and Shapewear 101.
1. Out with the old - Go through and get rid of any old, ill fitting bras and panties. Toss all bras with the wire poking out and all panties with any rips or elastic hanging out. You only want to keep the items that provide great support and make you look your best. In this case it's definitely quality over quantity.
2. Use underwear organizing drawer dividers - Drawer dividers are a great way to stay organized. Group your undies by type (thongs, bikinis, briefs, etc) and color, if you like. You can also have a divider section or storage box within your drawer for misc items (tights, spanx, etc). I found a great underwear organizer drawer divider 4 piece set on Amazon and I love it! As you can see from the photos in the post, there's a divider designated for bras, panties, socks, and miscellaneous items.

3. Store bras & fold panties correctly - Do not fold your bras by placing one cup into the other. Lay them flat like you see in lingerie stores. This will help to hold their shape and last longer. Fold panties by bringing the left and the right side to meet in the middle and then fold the bottom to meet the top. This will help you to save space. Bra and panty sets should be kept together.
