It may be surprising for some of you to see me in shorts in December but it hasn't been consistently cold in LA. We still get warm days here and there...gotta love LA! To soften it up a bit, try draping the jacket over your shoulders (like I do in my 4th pic on to the last pic) opposed to actually weather your jacket. This adds instant chic!

The slip dress trend was super popular this past summer. In fact, you might even have a slip dress or two. If you do, don't put your slip dress away just yet. Instead, add a long sleeve turtleneck and a pair of boots (booties like I'm wearing or calf or knee high boots will work too) and you now have a chic fall outfit.

Read MoreI've been super excited to post this dress because it's so grown and sexy. I love the color. It's a nice change from a black formal dress. This dress is very low cut and has a high slit so you have to be extra careful moving around. Lets just say I wouldn't recommend this dress for a night of dancing. I would wear this evening dress to a dinner date or my birthday dinner at a nice restaurant, or to a formal event.
