Outfit Of The Day: Crop Top + High Waist Jeans

In today’s outfit post I’m having a little fun with the mesh/see through trend. I went to Topshop a few weeks ago and this top immediately grabbed my attention for 3 reasons: the gorgeous blue color, I’m digging the see through, and yep you guessed…it’s a crop top! I wanted to keep this look a little street and funky. So instead of pairing the crop top with a skirt I chose a pair of high waist, curve hugging jeans. This is definitely an outfit for a night out on the town. I would probably only wear this crop top in the daytime to a pool or day party or over a swimsuit to the beach.

Outfit Of The Day: Crop Top & Pencil Skirt

Happy Monday! I hope you all had an amazing weekend! I spent most of the weekend relaxing and working with a little bit of play time ;-). I have some great content for you all this week so be sure to check in daily!

Now on to this outfit! As you can tell I have basically been living in crop tops this summer. I have given you ladies casual crop top outfit inspiration and now I'm showing you how to dress it up a bit. I've taken this dressy mesh crop top and have paired it with a form fitting pencil skirt for an uber sexy date night outfit or a girl's night out.

If you remember, a few months ago I was too excited to get these Adidas superstars. I am having so much fun styling them in different ways. You've seen me pair them with a blazer and boyfriend jeans, and now I'm showing you how to give your Adidas a casual but sexy vibe. This crop top and high waist leggings is the perfect combo for shopping, a picnic or BBQ, or Netflix and chill (yep, I just said that lol).

Outfit Inspiration: Body-Con Slip Dress + Heels

I went on a mini shopping spree at Topshop a few weeks ago and this is one of the dresses that I purchased (I also bought this slip dress and skater dress). I love the simplicity of this dress but it's also very sexy. It's the perfect LBD (little black dress) to have in your closet, and can you believe it's under $40?!?! I most definitely would wear this body-con slip dress on a dinner date or out for drinks.

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a nice weekend! I'm kicking this week off with a little skater dress outfit inspiration. I recently picked this this dress up at Topshop and instantly fell in love! I love that it's fun and flirty. I would wear this for a casual shopping day with a straw fedora and block sandals or wear as seen here to brunch or out to drinks. This is also a cute look for a summer concert. And wait until you see how much this skater dress cost! It's so affordable!

Outfit Inspiration: Slip Dress + Color Blocked Heels

As I mentioned in my 10 Trends You Need to Know This Summer post, the slip dress is a must have this season. It has been on my checklist for a while and now I can finally cross it off. I love that although this dress is not form fitting it is still sexy because of the lace detail and the similarity to chic lingerie. You can dress it up with heels or dress it down with a pair of sneakers. For cool evenings you can also throw on a bomber jacket.

How To Dress For A Summer Wedding - The Perfect Outfit

2 years ago I wore this matching crop top and maxi skirt set to my friend's beach wedding in beautiful Cabo, Mexico. Of course since it was a beach wedding I ditched the heels and went for a platform wedge sandal. This set is also the perfect outfit to wear to a summer wedding. The fabric is light weight, the colors are beautiful, and it's sexy but tasteful. Now that I think about it, I would say those are the top 3 criteria when choosing the perfect outfit for a summer wedding.

You all know I love a good crop top outfit as you can see in my previous posts here and here. For this look I kept it pretty casual with the graphic crop top and knit pants but gave it a little more pizzazz with the blue pumps.
